History of Christ Commission Fellowship
Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF) is a megachurch in Philippines, founded in the year 1984 by Pastor Peter Tan-Chi and his wife Deonna. In 1982, Pastor Tan Chi began an evangelical home Bible study in Brookside Subdivision, Cainta, Rizal, with an initial attendance of only three couples. However, as the attendees invited their acquaintances and families, the Bible study group gradually grew and subsequently relocated to San Juan City.
Following two years of continuous growth, a core group of 40 individuals comprising businessmen, professionals, and their families emerged from these Bible studies. They then held their first Sunday worship service at the Asian Institute of Management and established “Christ’s Commission Foundation” in August 1984.
CCF’s continuous expansion has necessitated its worship services to relocate several times. Beginning at AIM, services were subsequently held at Greenbelt in Makati, the Conference Room of the Philippine International Convention Center, and the PICC Plenary Hall. In due course, congregants began to split their attendance between the CCF Sucat venue and the one located at the Valle Verde Country Club.
The core mission of Christ’s Commission Fellowship is centered on evangelism and discipleship, with the aim of guiding individuals who are yet to have a personal relationship with Christ towards a deeper commitment as His followers. Although the church has members and regular attendees who have transitioned from other congregations and even assumed leadership roles, its primary goal remains to facilitate spiritual growth in individuals, particularly those who have not embraced the Christian faith.
They have over 60 churches in the Philippines and more than 40 in other countries, and around 70,000 people go to their weekly services (before Covid-19). CCF built its own worship auditorium which has 8 floors and 9,000 capacity auditorium for worshippers, this they did without help from foreign financial assistance or connections with other groups.

Peter Tan Chi is the lead pastor of the Christ Commission Fellowship, Peter is known for his passion for souls via his input in Evangelism. He is also the founder of Exalt Worship Band, A band with the sole mandate to reach out to souls and win them over to the kingdom via deep, intense soaking worship.
Exalt Worship launched its debut full-length album, “Majestic”, comprising of seven songs in 2019. The album was succeeded by the release of several singles, including “King Jesus” and “Joy”.
Pastor Peter, After obtaining a Master’s degree in management from the Asian Institute of Management, pursued a Doctorate degree in ministry at the International Graduate School of Leadership. Notably, he was awarded the UPAA Distinguished Award in Entrepreneurship and Employment Creation and honored as a Distinguished Alumnus of the UP College of Business Administration.
