Death of Dr. Charles Frazier Stanley
Charles Stanley, the senior pastor at Atlanta’s First Baptist Church, died peacefully on Tuesday morning 18th April 2023, in his home in Atlanta at age 90.
Charles Stanley was senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Atlanta for 49 years and took on emeritus status in 2020. He founded and presided over In Touch Ministries, which widely broadcast his sermons through television and radio.
He has both Children (Andy Stanley, Becky Stanley) and Grandchildren (Andrew Stanley, Garrett Stanley, Allison Stanley).
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved pastor, Dr. Charles Frazier Stanley. He must have died of natural causes.
