Who Is the Founder of  Harvesters International Christian Center?

Pastor Bolaji Idowu is the founder and lead pastor of the Harvesters International Christian Center.  He started his ministry as Accounting undergraduate at the University of Lagos. The Ministry was founded on the 13th of December 2003, when Pastor Bolaji Idowu received a divine vision that began with a few individuals.



Through the years, the growth of Harvesters from a small gathering to a sought-after place of worship with numerous locations in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America demonstrate that faith, persistence, focus, and a competent team can achieve anything. Harvesters now draws over 70,000 worshippers, both online and onsite, making it one of the most popular places of worship.

Harvesters International Christian Center Leadership

Pastor Bolaji was born on the 23rd, of March 1980, and he is a change leader, coach, founder, and Senior Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC). He graduated from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and currently leads one of the fastest-growing churches in Lagos, which draws in thousands of young people to its services.

Pastor Bolaji Idowu leads the Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC), which has established four branches in Lagos – Gbagada, Ikeja, Anthony, and Lekki, as well as a branch in Abuja. Notably, Pastor Bolaji Idowu is known for his philanthropic work, and the church runs the Harvesters Skill Acquisition Programme (HSAP) every quarter since 2017.

This program has successfully trained over 10,000 individuals, with hundreds of them becoming employers of labor. Pastor B, fondly called as such by his congregants, is also the convener of Next Level Prayers.

Pastor Omowunmi Idowu, is a prominent figure in the field of human development in our generation. With her high demand as a speaker both locally and internationally, she is a woman of strong moral fiber and integrity who is deeply passionate about excellence and dedicated to building up women and young people. As the convener of the annual women’s conference – Diva’s Connect, she is also an expert on non-governmental leadership and resolving family crises.

Alongside her husband Bolaji Idowu, Omowunmi currently serves as the pastor in charge of interactive groups at Harvesters International Christian Centre. This role sees her overseeing various groups such as married men, married women, and singles.

A proud mother of three wonderful boys, Omowunmi holds degrees in Insurance and human (leadership) development.

  • Harvesters Skill Acquisition Program (HSAP)

The Harvesters Skill Acquisition Program (HSAP) was initiated by Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC) in July 2016 to address the problem of unemployment among Nigerian youth. The program aims to equip the young Nigerian population with easily manageable, profitable, and expandable business skills, enabling them to support themselves, establish enterprises that can offer employment to others, and ultimately contribute to the growth of the Nigerian economy.

  • Harvesters African Empowerment Foundation (HAEF)

The Harvesters African Empowerment Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to enhance the standard of living for economically underprivileged individuals throughout Africa by providing empowerment opportunities. Our primary objective is to ameliorate the quality of life and generate wealth for disadvantaged individuals in Africa through education, entrepreneurship support, feeding programs, and aid for internally displaced persons (IDPs).

  • End Hunger Initiative

The Harvesters End Hunger Project has set its sights on addressing the pressing issue of hunger that is affecting Nigeria. Through the implementation of a “front line” approach, the project distributes food directly to those who are most in need, such as internally displaced persons and families who are unable to provide for themselves. The ultimate goal is to assist as many individuals and families as possible, ensuring that no one is left to suffer from hunger.

  • Prison Ministry

The Prisons Ministry operates as an Outreach Ministry with the purpose of enhancing the well-being of inmates in prisons throughout Nigeria. The ministry achieves this by providing various resources such as food, educational materials, legal aid/intervention, and spiritual guidance, among other things.

The ultimate aim of the ministry is to facilitate transformation in the lives of inmates by instilling hope through the word of God, prayer, and special ministrations. Additionally, the ministry strives to empower inmates by providing legal aid/intervention and facilitating access to literacy programs that will support them in their lives beyond prison.
