Epistle – Declaring Midst of the Year Revival Intercessory and Prayer Raid
Covenant Highways Greeting in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
We serve the God of times and seasons, Who made all things beautiful in its time – Ecc. 3:1-2/11
God’s Word usually defines the time and season of life as it relates to us both as Church and as individuals – Psa. 31:15/ 2 Sam. 11:1/ Luk. 19:41-44
We discover from scriptures that the midst of the year is ordained a season of spiritual awakening, in God’s agenda, as it is written, “REVIVE thy work in the MIDST OF THE YEARS, in the midst of the years make known (your power)” Hab. 3:1-2/6.
However, according to the book of Haggai, the spirit of God’s people was stirred up in the month of June to begin to engage in the work of the Lord as a priority – Hag.1:1-14
And the outcome was an outbreak of earth-shaking revival in the month of July, ordained to make the glory of the latter house greater than the former – Hag. 2:1-9
The two months of June and July constitute the midst of the year, with five months on either side of the divide. Therefore, the midst of the year is a season of Revival which connotes among others:
- A season of glory – 37:1-14/ Zph. 3:17-20/ Joel 2:23-27
- A season of consecration – 3:1-5/ Rom. 13:11-14/ 2 Tim. 2:19-21
- A season of fervent engagement on the prayer altar – Act. 2:46-47/ Act. 3:1/ Act. 12:5
- A season of passionate pursuit after salvation of souls – Jhn 15:1-5/16/ 2 Pet. 3:9/Dan. 12:3
- A season of supernatural Church growth – 4:1-2/ Act. 2:38-41/ Act. 5:12-14
But what must we differently to actualize the blessedness of this season of glory?
- We must enter into a covenant of sacrificial dimension of stewardship – 2 Chr. 15:12-15/ Psa. 50:5
- We must define a new schedule of engagement on the prayer altar – Mat. 6:6-13/17-19
- We must define our outreach schedule for this season – 2 Sam. 11:1-5/ Mat. 20:1-9
- We must seek kingdom advancement partnership from among Church members, from our service groups, neighbourhood, WSF membership, business contacts, etc. – Eccl. 4:9-12/ Pro. 27:17
What is the Big Deal about serving God and the interest of His kingdom?
- It is the gateway to all-round fulfillment in life – 2 Chr. 15:12-15
- It is our access to the topmost top in our walk with God – 23:10-11/ Mak. 4:41
- It secures God’s presence that will always make the difference– 10:1-2/17-19/ Mak. 16:15-20/
- In addition, to diverse other blessings, we reap life everlasting through the investment of our time, energy and resources in Kingdom advancement endeavours – 4:35-36/ 1 Cor. 3:6-8/ Gal. 6:7-9/
Therefore, by the prompting of the Holy Spirit, between Monday, June 5 and Sunday July 30, 2023, we shall be embarking on extensive and innovative kingdom advancement endeavours aimed at reaping great harvest into the Kingdom and massive ingathering of souls into our various Churches.
This shall include, among others, Church based outreaches across various segments of our harvest field, crusades as maybe applicable from place to place, prayer and soul winning partnership engagement, and many more.
I believe everyone that engages his/her heart in this work, shall return with testimonies of supernatural change of story, and many among us shall be turned into testimonials as God continues to reward everyone openly according to his labour – 2 Chr. 15:1-7/ 1 Cor. 3:6-8/ Hab. 3:2/17-19
Welcome to this prophetic midst of the year, your season of glory in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
