The Redeemed Christian Church of God aka RCCG is an International Pentecostal mega-church with branches all over the world. The ministry is presided by Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye who has been an ordained pastor since 1975. The church is popularly known for her annual Holy Ghost convention with an average headcount of 500,000 individuals in attendance at the Redemption camp ground, Nigeria.
Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is a Pentecostal Christian denomination and a megachurch.
The headquarters is located in Mowe, Nigeria. The international church is structured in different areas throughout the world. The local churches are now grouped into regions, with 25 Regions in Nigeria.
HISTORY OF THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD (RCCG).
The headquarter facility of the church known as the Redemption Camp in Mowe was procured in 1983 and has expanded to over 2500 hectares. It was recently reported to be the residence for about 12,000 people.
By the time the founder passed away in 1980, RCCG had about 42 Parishes. In 1981, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye became the General Overseer of the Church, taking over from the founder; Late Rev. Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi (1909–1980). This new leadership has grown eversince and was recently reported to be laden with ultimate responsibility for over 12,000 churches in over 120 nations.
In 1990, the Redeemed Christian Church of God Bible School was founded.
in 2000, the widely read Open Heavens Daily devotional was commenced.
In 2005, the Redeemers University, Ede, Osun State, Nigeria, was founded.
In 2011, the church began the electronic evangelical arm known as the Redemption Television Ministry (RTM).

In 1988, a students’ body known as the Redeemed Christian Fellowship (RCF) was established. It is the youth wing of the church concentrated within tertiary institutions of learning in the country.
In 1990, Christ the Redeemer’s Friends Universal (CRFU), was established to garner financial and human resources from the very wealthy in the society.
In 2015 Yemi Osinbajo who is the Pastor in charge of the Lagos Province 48 (Olive Tree provincial headquarters) of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, became the Vice-president of Nigeria, and since been in power till date.
THE RCCG MISSION AND VISION
The Church is committed to achieving her mission and vision as follows:
1) To make heaven.
2) To take as many people with us.
3) To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations.
4) To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle.
5) To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.
6) We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the world is reached for the Lord Jesus Christ

EDUCATION
The Redeemed Christian Church of God is an influencer in Christian school education in Nigeria, setting standards through continuous commitment to excellence geared towards making a transformative impact on society through her higher institute of learning known as the Redeemers University and a Bible college The Redeemed Christian Bible College (RCBC).
